Girls Code

Guys, feel free to skip this post; its ladies dialogue.

Do you ever wonder why some girls are pissed at each other? Do you notice some group of girls acting unusual to a girl that formally was their friend? Have you seen a couple of girlfriends rebuking another girlfriend at the same time? These happen because someone most probably broke the “girl code”.

The ‘Girl code’ exemplifies the mind-set and reactions expected from girls/ladies in certain situations amidst girl to girl interaction. Here are some of the codes of conduct girls are expected to uphold. I have put some together after detailed research and interaction. Read, LEARN, enjoy and most importantly pass it on to your girlfriends.

• You are not allowed to leave your girlfriend hanging at a party for some guy you never knew without her honest permission.
• You are required to tell your girlfriend(s) the juicy details of a social event they were not able to attend.  It’s like updating multipurpose software.
• It is wrong, immature and dumb to talk badly of a lady that has done you no wrong and you have no dealings with.
• If you girlfriend has just been dumped, you owe it to her to physically keep her company and help her through especially on the next weekend to the incident.
• When a girlfriend asks your opinion about a dress or general appearance, it is your responsibility to give a candid, straightforward and honest opinion. This would rid the world of some awkward appearances.
• Did a guy just approach girl and she’s trying to escape his persistent confrontation? Fellow girls should help each other by getting one another out of such situations. Even if you don’t know the lady, pretending you’re a friend and getting her off the hook is the right thing to do.
• Is a girl drunk and out of her senses? As a girl, it is only right to take it upon yourself to get her to safety as she could be taken advantage of. It’s not your problem and her stupidity of getting drunk might annoy you but you should still get her out of harm’s way.
• Is your friend really into a guy and the guy just approached her which makes her almost dumbfounded, stand by your girlfriend and try helping her conceal that fact.
• Did a guy your girlfriend is into and told you about just walk up to you requesting for your own phone number? Give him, your girlfriend’s number and tell him “she’s a better suit for you”.
• At that “time of the month”, your girlfriend might be the type that experiences much pain. Be there for her.
• Never date your girlfriends ex. It’s simple, straight and plain. Except you meet years later in another city entirely.
• It’s not allowed to disrespect your girlfriend’s man even if he’s not so smart. And if his dumb ass cheats on girl, you’re allowed to give him the “asshole treatment”
• When your girlfriend’s brother asks you out, you need the explicit permission of your friend to go out with her brother.
• You’re not allowed to hang out with your girlfriend’s man with her been present.  
• No girl should have more than a boyfriend at a time. You what that is
• Never borrow a cloth or dressing accessory from your friend without permission; you can do that with your mom. Except a memorable discussion has been previously held on this matter to waive this boundary, then you shouldn’t.
• Your friend has bought and shown you a type of cloth she bought for an event; you are not allowed to buy the same type without her honest permission.
• Never borrow your girlfriend a cloth that people in the environment you’re would notably know it’s yours at first sight
• Never share any ugly or indecent picture of your girlfriends; not even with your man.
• Always leave a man wanting more of you but don't not for too long.
• When a wrong rumour about you is spread, you are allowed to give you any girlfriend of yours that believes cold-shoulders for 3 full days.
• In a fight between a friend and her boyfriend, you must always be on your friend’s side in the public. Later when you the two of you are alone, you then give a piece of your mind if she wrong. And if you feel that might be too late, you can excuse her from the situation wisely and have a quick private talk.
• Even when you have a spouse, you must and should create ample time to hang out with your girls.
• Never tell your man the dirty secrets of your girlfriends
• When a girlfriend is drunk, never allow her to make a phone call, drive or leave with a random guy.
• When said evening is tagged "Girls’ Night Out", that means it is for GIRLS ONLY. Therefore, don’t invite your boyfriend no matter how bored he might be.
