How You and I encourage Rape

It’s a new incident about rape everyday somehow somewhere in the world. The cases of child and adult rape have gone beyond humane or bearable rates. This is rather not an animalistic deed but a monstrous act. Diverse cases of rape has been heard of ranging from infants to aged; religious heads to well-known hardened criminals; sick to pregnant; premeditated to impromptu; during daytime and nightfall. Rape is constantly defacing our society and our approach as humans is somewhere around nonchalant and cowardice.
In comparison to our approach toward other challenges like economic problems-unemployment, environmental issues –global warming, eradicating rape is receiving too little attention and everyone is responsible.
1. More rapes cases keep of rape popping up all over the world especially among the defenceless children but we are yet to sit and think of the causes and take painstaking decisions to stop it.
2. Judicial verdicts on rape have not been equivalent to the crime committed. It’s more like giving the “monsters” a slap on the wrist and releasing them back to the society.
3. The media is not and cannot report everything on it. It can be boldly said that over 70% of rapes been perpetrated go unreported.
4. Most men and women only show 'vocal hate' to the reputation that rapists have given the society but no changes probably because their families are safe
5. The lifestyles we are adopting in the name of “urbanisation and civilisation” ruins the dignity in mankind but we act negligent and unaffected.
Word for thought: If rape continues at this rate, are you sure in 20 years’ time, your close family would have that clear record?
Rapes are in schools, homes and neighbourhood, workplace, entertainment centres, street corners, public facilities and anywhere else you could think of. It is increased by indecent dressing, lack of home training, psychoactive substances, alcohol consumption, offensive videos from entertainment industries, increasing pornographic materials, and zero foresight about the future repercussions.
STOP RAPE!
SPEAK AGAINST IT, ACT AGAINST IT!
FIGHT ANYTHING THAT ENCOURAGES RAPE BECAUSE IT THREATENS THE DECENCY OF OUR SOCIETY.
