Opinions: Does coming from a Broken Family predict Fail Relationships?

Zhen speaks: "One of my friends who has far more relationship experience than I is adamant that you should never date people who come from broken families because this will inevitably rear its head in your own relationship and cause recurring problems. My only experience here is being with a guy whose father cheated on his

mother and yes, it was an issue...do children of broken marriages ever get out of it relatively unaffected or are the mistakes of their parents always a lifelong scar that influence their future behaviour as adults in relationships themselves? Is dating someone from a broken family 9 times out of 10 asking for trouble?"
